I want to be very purposeful with the use of my blog, and make it easy for others (and myself) to use it for when we need ideas on where/who to order from when we have events at home, with the friends, with the family, or just a planned no-cook day for next week. So, If I think the food is extra good / above average, the brand would have its own article…. like this one!

Los Tacos is easily one of THE BEST Tacos that I’ve ever had. The tacos feels soooo simple, yet complex in flavours at the same time. This platter is made with 4 different types of Tacos – Beef Tacos, Prawn Tacos, Chicken Tacos, Percik Tacos. (Do note that I ate these during Ramadan, so the flavours that are available now might be slightly different.

All of the sauces for the Tacos are packed separately, so that none of the Tacos get soggy. How do I know? Well, I ate the Tacos a good 3-4 hours after it arrived at my door (while waiting to get hungry) and the Tacos remained so darn good!

The sauces you see in the photo are as follows (from top to bottom)
– Cilantro Lime Crema
– Pico de Gallo
– Guacamole
– Percik Sauce

I was immediately drawn to the prawn Tacos because it was big and juicy, and immediately reminded me of prawn tandoori. #ravingreviews. All the Tacos are best eaten with the sauces drizzled on top for that extra punch of flavourrrr 10/10 ravingreviews.

Across the board all the Tacos (except for the percik) had flavours which are distinctively mexican, with the beef tacos being the most intense in flavours. The chicken tacos were also good, especially the percik so I hope they bring that back every Ramadan.

Fresh and crunchy vegetables are often underrated in dishes like Tacos, but boy don’t they add to the flavours here. Ps. Don’t forget the LIME!

Here’s some upclose of the big & juicy prawns! (sorry the photo is a little overexposed. I’m too tired to re-edit this. 🫢)

The Birria Tacos (below) are made from pan-friend corn tortillas. They are eaten with the consommé, which is spicy and definitely more flavoursome that all of the other tacos combined. The savoury and flavoursome tender pulled beef on the inside makes this very intense. Do I recommend it? YES. #ravingreviews.

You can choose to eat it just like that, with the consommé, or with the cilantro lime crema, which would tone down the flavour a little and provide that familiar creamy comfort you want from a meal eaten on an empty stomach.
